Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a structured form of outpatient treatment that serves as an intermediate step between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services. This program is specifically designed for individuals dealing with substance abuse and/or behavioral health challenges who require intensive support but also benefit from the independence of living at home.

Program Structure: PHP typically involves attending treatment services at our facility for multiple hours each day, up to five to seven days a week. During this time, participants engage in a comprehensive suite of therapies designed to treat substance use and mental health disorders.

Therapies and Treatments Included:

  • Group Therapy: Facilitates peer support and      skill development in a collaborative setting.
  • Individual Therapy: Focuses on personal challenges      and progress, providing tailored strategies for recovery.
  • Family Therapy: Engages family members in the      recovery process, helping to repair and strengthen relationships.
  • Medication Management: Overseen by psychiatric      professionals to balance any necessary medication treatments.
  • Educational Workshops: Cover various topics relevant to      long-term recovery, including stress management, relapse prevention, and      healthy living.

Goals of PHP: The primary goal of our PHP is to stabilize health and equip individuals with the tools they need to manage their conditions in everyday settings. By providing a rigorous yet flexible structure, we aim to help participants transition smoothly from intensive care to less restrictive, independent living.

Ideal Candidates for PHP:

  • Do not require 24-hour supervision but still need substantial support.
  • Are transitioning from residential treatment / in patient care, or those who need more support than what is typically offered through outpatient care.

Benefits of PHP:

  • Maintains a balance between structured therapy and personal      independence.
  • Provides a high level of care without the need for full      hospitalization.
  • Supports continued engagement in personal, family, and professional      life.

Through our Partial Hospitalization Program, we commit to offering the intensive care needed to achieve meaningful and lasting recovery, all while allowing participants to maintain their daily lives outside of treatment hours. For more information on how to enroll in PHP or to determine if it is the right fit for your situation, please contact our admissions team.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse and behavioral health issues who need significant support, but have a stable living environment. IOP allows participants to continue with their day-to-day activities, such as work or school, while participating in comprehensive treatment.

Program Structure: IOP participants typically engage in treatment for several hours per day, three to five days a week. This schedule maintains a balance between the therapeutic intensity required for effective treatment and the flexibility needed for daily responsibilities.

Therapies and Treatments Included:

  • Group Therapy: Sessions that build supportive peer connections and facilitate shared healing experiences.
  • Individual Counseling: Focused one-on-one sessions with      a therapist to strategize personal recovery plans and address unique      challenges.
  • Family Counseling: Opportunities to involve family members in the recovery process to improve communication and mend      relationships.
  • Educational Sessions: Workshops that provide insights into substance abuse disorders, mental health issues, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.

Goals of IOP: The aim of our IOP is to provide intensive treatment that supports the recovery process while integrating into one’s daily life. It is structured to:

  • Help individuals develop coping mechanisms and tools to handle      everyday stresses and triggers.
  • Promote sustained recovery through a structured yet flexible      program.
  • Encourage family involvement and support networks that are crucial      for long-term success.

Ideal Candidates for IOP:

  • Require more support than traditional outpatient services can offer, but less than full-time residential care, or PHP.
  • Have completed a residential program, or PHP and are looking for a step down to help integrate back into everyday life.
  • Are able to manage their recovery with part-time clinical support.

Benefits of IOP:

  • Flexibility to maintain employment or education while receiving      treatment.
  • Access to a comprehensive suite of therapeutic services to support      recovery.
  • Reduced cost compared to inpatient programs with a high level of      care.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program is a crucial resource for individuals who are serious about their recovery but need the flexibility to maintain their regular commitments. To find out more about our IOP or to see if it’s the right option for you or your loved one, please reach out to our team for more information.

Men’s House - Pocatell

Our Safe and Sober Housing initiative offers specialized living arrangements for individuals participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This housing is designed to provide a supportive and structured environment conducive to recovery and long-term sobriety.

Men’s House - Pocatello: Our men's residence in Old Town Pocatello is a pivotal part of the community's response to the need for transitional housing for those in recovery. This safe and nurturing environment allows residents to focus on their recovery without the distractions of everyday stressors. The home is tailored to meet the needs of men in recovery, fostering a community of mutual support and accountability. In response to a call from government and other stakeholders, the Hatch Family and America Health committed significant resources to this project. They invested in acquiring and renovating a multi-apartment building situated directly above the Summit Treatment Center, meticulously preparing it for over a year. This strategic location not only provides easy access to treatment services but also stands as a testament to their dedication to the community, clearly demonstrating how they stepped up to deliver crucial transitional care in Pocatello.

Women’s House - Idaho Falls: Known as Sherri's House, our women's residence in Idaho Falls provides a secure and empowering space specifically designed for women. Located adjacent to one of our treatment centers, this setting enhances the recovery journey by enabling residents to engage with their peers in a supportive and understanding community. The initiative to establish this house came after the success of the men's housing, with Sherri Hatch personally leading the effort to design, furnish, and decorate the home, thus creating a warm and therapeutic environment. This project was another step by the Hatch family and America Health to meet the community’s needs, further supported by government and stakeholder input.

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • Treatment Requirement: Residents must be actively participating in either our IOP or PHP. This ensures that all individuals in our housing are committed to a recovery process and are receiving consistent therapeutic support.
  • Target Audience: Our housing is intended for those in high need of support, such as individuals transitioning from residential treatment or those requiring a stable environment to cultivate their recovery.

Benefits of Safe and Sober Housing:

  • Stability: Provides a stable and controlled environment crucial for early recovery stages.
  • Community: Residents live with peers who share similar experiences and goals, creating a strong support network.
  • Accountability: Structured living conditions and community expectations promote personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Integration: Facilitates smoother transition into everyday life post-treatment with continued support and guidance.

Our Safe and Sober Housing is more than just a place to stay; it is a community geared towards fostering recovery and preparing residents for a successful, sober life. For more information on eligibility, applications, or to schedule a visit, please contact our housing coordinators.
